We were recommended this restaurant by some friends of ours and so came with them for my husbands birthday as a large group and have just taken my mum and dad for their birthdays. Both times the food, service and atmosphere has been fantastic i would thoroughly recommend this place to all my friends and hope that you are here for many years to come!!!
We had never eaten truly FRESH fish in a restaurant until we ate at Bridge Street. Amazing choice of fish, and superbly cooked! Lovely food, great jenga chips!!!!! Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again

I found myself at the Bridge Street Restaurant late one evening, alone, when waiting to catch the overnight car ferry back to my home in France. Frank Shaw welcomed me in, despite the fact that most of his clients were almost ready to leave, and cheerfully served me the freshest possible cod, even though I ordered no wine (I was driving), or profitable desserts. The meal was delicious, the price very reasonable, the staff cheerful and helpful… I think in future I would even eat here rather than in France! And I want to hear more of the boxing and fishing stories! This family are natural hosts, the only problem I foresee is that I may soon be unable to get a table. John Nicolson

I have been for dinner twice with my sister and my mum. The food is great-really tasty and well presented. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxed. Shelly is a fab cook and Frank is just so entertaining.
